Since 1991, The Cara Program has placed more than 3,750 motivated individuals affected by homelessness and poverty into quality jobs with benefits. Tribute to the Stars is our opportunity to celebrate employed students and graduates of The Cara Program for pursuing their dreams and transforming their lives. Friends, partners, and supporters of The Cara Program attended a special lunchtime "Motivations" at the Holiday Inn - Chicago Mart Plaza on Novermber 21, 2013 to honor Cara students and the corporate and community partners who have been instrumental in their success.

This year the Cara Program/Cleanslate is proud to partner with Chicago Ideas Week. On Tuesday, 15 October from 8:30am-10:30am join Cara Program and Cleanslate employees to launch a social enterprise in 90 minutes or less during this "Social Enterprise Bootcamp". Face the ultimate challenge of creating jobs for at-risk Chicagoans while chasing handsome margins.
Join us for The Cara Program's Summer Social, presented by TCP's Associate Board in partnership with The Blackstone Hotel.
What: An exciting evening of networking, great food and fabulous drinks in support of The Cara Program's mission to help motivated Chicagoans break the cycles of homelessness and poverty.
Date & Time: Thursday, August 29th from 6-9 PM
Where: The Blackstone Hotel, Art Hall (636 S. Michigan Avenue)
