As a social enterprise of The Cara Program, Cleanslate's activities are governed by the Board of The Cara Program. 

On pace to gross over $2 million in revenue in 2011, Cleanslate is a growing business, whose footprint across this city is far and wide.  Customers are drawn to Cleanslate because it excels at the things most business owners strive to see in its vendors: quality, consistency, and execution.  Where else can you find a service provider that radically changes the face of a whole neighborhood (since we were founded, we have collected over 3,200 tons of trash and recyclables from our streetscapes), and can make a ton of passersby smile

What Motivates Us

Cleanslate, a social enterprise of The Cara Program, provides on-the-job training and transitional support services for individuals who face obstacles to employment.  Understanding the role that community development can play in personal esteem building and, on a larger scale, economic renewal, it is our mission that Cleanslate promote community vibrancy and neighborhood safety, while helping hundreds of at-risk individuals build skills tha
